Comment Policy

I encourage you (writers, readers, and visitors) to interact with this site using its commenting tools; but we have a few ground rules.

Let’s make this a safe and enjoyable place for communication.

Comment (1)Conduct

Write comments that are civil and gracious, even when (maybe especially when) you disagree with someone. If you believe you have been treated unfairly, please notify me.

I decide if comments are approved or not, and I reserve the right to delete comments. (I may also edit comment to make them clearer or shorter; and if you add a link to your comment that I don’t want on my site, I may delete it.)

Comments are limited to 300 words. Occasionally I approve a longer comment. If you have more to say, consider starting your own blog. (If you want to start your own blog, check out these helpful sites: Michael Hyatt or Jeff Goins.)

This site is intended for teenagers or older because the material is intended for a reasonable level of maturity.

We will not sell or barter email addresses used for comments. But I may contact you myself.

Commenters may comment anonymously or with brand names or online personas. Real names are preferred.

License to Publish

Commenters grant me a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and non-exclusive license to use comment data in any form of published work or performance including, but not limited to, web sites, digital eBooks, print, promotional material, audio, video, live, and broadcast events.

Comment data may be used for any purpose.

Legal Indemnity

Commenters agree to hold harmless site owners and authors from any and all legal repercussions, damages, and liabilities perceived to have been caused by participating in this site’s online conversations.

If you have questions about this comment policy, please contact me using my contact form or mail me at the address below.
